My touch 3G phones in the United States are actually known as the HTC Magic. These basically fall under the category of smartphones and have been designed by the HTC. The users of such smartphones can personalize the wallpapers, icons and even the menu of the phone. There is existence of a program called Sherpa in the phone which enables the user for determining the location of favorites and recommendations.
For music lovers, the My Touch 3G phones are the best recommendations. There exists a 3.5 mm headphone jack enabling charging of the phone and listening to music with extreme clarity both at the same time. There is newly invented software, called as the DoubleTwist™, which makes transferring of music tracks and videos and pictures between the personal computer / laptop and the My Touch 3G very easy. Swype is basically a touch screen technology enabling the typing speed to increase by leaps and bounds in the smartphones as about 30 words per minute can be typed. Generally the newly launched package of the T-Mobile My Touch 3G phones come along with accessories like headphones, in-built microphone, USB cable, Screen Protector, leather pouch for carrying the phone and the reading manual for users.

Basically these My Touch 3G phones are user-friendly along with a Qwerty keyboard; however, some people admit that they have just found it awful. The pricing of these smartphones have been kept in the range of $190 – $200 in order to attract the consumers to these new technology phones. On the whole, the companies are really banking on the success of these phones.

Samsung’s recent launch of a new range of touchscreen phones coupled with a new push towards more mobile applications based on the android platform has industry insiders speculating on a new angle in the competitions with apple’s iphone. With each new array of the Samsung phone being introduced, from the high end multifunctional Acclaim with android 2.1 to the Samsung Sunburst, targeting the low end social networking junkie seems all set to take the touchscreen market by storm.

The qwerty models include the Samsung Exclaim which features a fully featured qwerty keyboard and integrated sprint GPS, and towards the lower end of the spectrum, the Samsung Saga which uses the windows mobile 6.1 and offers access to both GSM and CDMA networks which means that you can use this phone anywhere in the world. The most obvious focal point is the touchscreen genre is of course the availability of mobile apps, or rather in Samsungs case the lack of apps.

But the evolution of the android operating system looks sufficiently promising to allow the unhindered development of apps and a viable future for mobile gaming and productivity designers. The newest model in the Samsung touchscreen docket is the Samsung Vibrant. Featuring a super AMOLED touchscreen which allows for astonishing sensitivity and HD quality playback. Packing a 1 GHz hummingbird processor running on Android 2.1, this phones has no lack of applications available via synchronicity the Samsung app store. Boasting a 5.0 MP camera and memory expandable up to 32 GB, this phones does not disappoint a shutterbug. Kindle users have reason to celebrate as the phone is eminently capable of being used as an ebook reader. The address book feature is the most interesting bit of the phone with the attempt to integrate contacts and email in one app, while the feeds and updates and buddies now apps are a godsend for anyone who is a regular user on networking sites.

The biggest advantage though is in its power consumption with the new design offering 20% higher usage time between charges. QWERTY models have not exactly been Samsung’s strong point, with previous models barely competing with the blackberry and palm models, but Samsungs latest offering in the QWERTY group the Samsung Exclaim offers some food for thought with its integrated Sprint navigation service and a strong focus on its social networking applications. For a QWERTY phone it offers remarkable web surfing features and a rather handy camera.

While Samsung might yet redeem itself in the touchscreen market by its judicious adoption of Android for the phones ,the phones themselves target a remarkably small spectrum, with its attempt to please every section of the consumer market the company might be wasting valuable research and time on developing unnecessary features and ignoring potential winners.

Like most of us, you’ve probably had a mobile phone for some time now, one that you’re able to use for the basics, like talking to your friends and family, or dashing off a short text message. We love our cell phones for helping us keep in touch with one another—and now, with smart phones widely available and much more affordable, we have even more mobile Internet connectivity and computing capability at our fingertips.

Making the switch to a smart phone can seem expensive to someone used to the cost of a regular cell phone, which is why a little research on the smart phone market can really pay off. With some research, you will be able to find deals on cheap smartphones. Reading up on smart phones will also make you aware of the kind of features you should be looking for, no easy feat considering the many wonderful functions this new class of cell phones offers. It goes without saying that a smart phone should have a QWERTY keyboard, but on top of that you might look for a handset that includes a high-quality camera (e.g. 3.2 megapixels or more) and an expandable microSD slot so that you can boost your cell phone’s memory. With more memory, you’ll be able to store music and podcasts on your smart phone, making it an even handier all-in-one mobile device.

Get FREE SHIPPING from LetsTalk.com on any order with a 2 year service plan from carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile

See how a phone feels in your hand, and whether you feel more comfortable navigating its interface with a track pad, tracking ball, or touch screen. The BlackBerry Pearl 9100, for example, is sleek and small, and yet includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, and picture-sharing through MMS (multimedia messaging service). It’s got a fantastic optical track pad that replaces the clunkiness of a tracking ball, and yet also avoids the smudging that often goes hand-in-hand with touch screen smart phones.

The point is not only how a phone looks and feels, but also what it allows you to do. Think carefully about what kinds of things you’ll be doing online with your smart phone, and how fast you’ll need a connection to be. Will you be using this phone for your business, or is it just a convenient way for you to email friends when you’re riding the bus or out about town?

Receive 5% off the entire shopping cart up to $25 on LetsTalk.com.
If you’re more interested in a smart phone for personal use, consider the HTC Snap, an inexpensive, popular smart phone that allows reliable access to email, instant messaging, and web browsing without all the bells and whistles. A slight step up for someone interested in a first-time smart phone for business purposes might want to consider the LG IQ, which connects to the web via a much faster 3G+ connection, and allows you to surf the web via Internet Explorer 7. As with the BlackBerry Pearl, which can accommodate BlackBerry applications (apps) such as Facebook, the LG IQ can be loaded up with Windows apps, many of which will help you extend your smart phone’s capabilities to time management, social networking, and business and financial planning—just to name a few.

BlackBerry, LG, and HTC all make a number of different smart phone models, so while this overview gives you a sampling of the features offered by their most popular smart phones, the best thing to do is go out and try them for yourself. Your nearest cellular mobility provider will likely have a number of BlackBerry, LG, and HTC smart phones, from which you can choose the model that best suits you.

Sprint Blackberry Curve 8530 FREE Out the door Plus Free Activation on New Plans from 7/27 to 8/2/10 for a limited time!

LetsTalk.com, a leading online retailer of cell phones and service plans, offers cell phone plans from all the major carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon) as well as regional carriers. We also offer deals on pre-paid cell phones, wireless cards, netbook activation, and cell phone accessories. Click the links above, or the banner below to start saving now!!

It’s been a year since I’ve started using the Sony Ericsson (SE) M600i. I like this phone because really helps me with more than just making and receiving phone calls, but also browsing the internet, checking email, going on Facebook, chatting, and more. This is one of the most high-speed Three G phones, with a good price.

SE M600i comes with 60MB of internal memory and includes a 64MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card with the phone. But I suggest to getting a 1GB card for bigger space if you want to save multimedia files on it.

Running Symbian OS 9.1 and UIQ 3.0, SE M600i boasts UMTS support and the usual business applications, such as QuickOffice to write, edit, and read Microsoft Word and Excel documents, and a PDF viewer. With this features, for me, SE M600i mixed my business with pleasure meanwhile I use it for listening music, video streaming, and games. And by using SE PC Suite application help me sync my e-mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks from SE M600i to computer. SE M600i organized my business in my hand easily.

And not just for phone call and business applications, sometimes I use SE M600i as modem by wired or wireless connection. Through Bluetooth I connected SE M600i to my computer and sharing files to other cell phone.

Its slim design looks elegant with comfortable qwerty keyboard and large touch-screen display. I think SE M600i is one of best pocketable smartphones. Using 3-way scroll wheel we can move up, down and select easily, going back by pressing back button on left side, using its @ button to open browser (but this can be changed to other actions in the settings), and the good one is we can use pen stylus to write faster than using its dual function keyboard.

Despite all its many features, the lack of Wi-Fi support and a camera sorely disappointing and sometimes it crashed once in a while, most while browsing.

If you’ve been in the market for Three G Phones, have a look at The BlackBerry Bold. It appears to be a great smartphone with few drawbacks.

The Bold looks sleek with its black color and chrome trim. The back is textured to feel like leather, and the 3.5 inch display has a more crisp and vibrant display than most other phones in its class, including the iPhone 3G. The Bold is sturdy, but it’s bigger than previous BlackBerry versions and is definitely larger than the iPhone 3G. BlackBerry loyalists will be happy to note that the Bold’s design stays true to previous models, but still has manages to look modern.

Among the Bold’s features, there is a 2.0 megapixel camera with digital zoom and built-in flash, a QWERTY keyboard, and tethered modem capability. The camera is nothing special, as the old BlackBerry 8800 model had a camera with the same amount of megapixels. For whatever reason, RIM decided not to improve the camera quality. The QWERTY keyboard is one of the phone’s stellar features. Email and texting are a delight with the easy to use keyboard. The keys are backlit, and even people with large fingers should be able to type almost effortlessly.

As far as battery life goes, the Bold can last up to 13.5 days in standby and 4.5 hours of talk time. I believe these estimates to be on par with most smartphones in the same class. In fact, these times are either better than or equal to the battery life of a 3G iPhone.

Included accessories with the phone are a USB cable and wall charger. The Bold has 1GB of on-board memory, and if that’s not enough, microSD memory cards are supported. A maximum of 8GB can be added with a high-capacity microSD card.

Connection-wise, the Bold supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, and built-in GPS. Another area where the phone shines is its native multimedia support. The media player has a clean interface, and the phone natively supports DivX, XviD, H.264, and WMV3 video formats. Audio format support is common with 3GP, MP3, WMA9, MIDI, and AAC.

If you’ve never owned a BlackBerry, you definitely can’t go wrong with the Bold. If you already own a BlackBerry, the Bold is the perfect upgrade choice. The phone’s screen and keyboard really provide a pleasant user experience, and the multimedia support is top notch. The only major flaw in the phone is the low quality camera, but the rest of the phone’s features certainly make up for it.
